The 2017 inauguration spurred a series of women’s rights marches across the United States. In New Orleans especially, women made their voices heard. Danielle and I found ourselves in the midst of this social movement and felt compelled to lend our talents to the cause of equal rights. This chalk mural, created on the historic Royal St., is a testament to the women who gathered on January 21, 2017 to stand up for social justice.
